Memorial Day Parade and Ceremony, featuring our guest speaker, SMSgt Jessica Kienbaum, Vice Commander of Post 173 and member of the 115th Fighter Wing at Truax Field in Madison.
Youth organizations and local community members gathered to place flags at the graves of our veterans.

Quilts For Veterans

Thanks to Laura Sullivan for all her hard work, time and money!
The above two Veterans living in the Our House Senior Living Home in Whitewater received quits from Post 173.
​​Legion Member Wayne Bentel and Laura Sullivan giving lap quilts to Douglas Mayer, Burlington, and Peter Goihi of Burlington living in Hearthstone Memory Care in Whitewater. Mrs. Sullivan purchased the materials, made the quilts and then donated 15 quilts to Legion Post 173 to be given to veterans.
